Westerville City Schools 2023 Capital Improvement Bid Packages – Addendum 04

Below is a link to bidding documents for 13 projects for Westerville City Schools. There are three interior renovations, South High School Phase 6, Hawthorn Elementary school, and Whittier Elementary School, eight Capital Improvement HVAC projects, and two secure entry renovations, Genoa Middle School and Walnut Springs, that can be bid separately or in combination. This addendum supplements and amends the original contract documents dated January 16, 2023 and shall become part of the contract documents. Bids are due before noon on February 21, 2023 at Westerville City Schools’ Administrative Offices at 936 Eastwind Drive in Westerville. There was a virtual Prebid meeting on January 19, 2023 at 3:00pm, the pre-bid meeting minutes are attached to the addendum 01 summary.

MBEs are defined as businesses that are at least 51 percent owned and controlled for more than a year by an Ohio resident and U.S. citizen who belongs to one of the following ethnic groups: African American or Black, Asian, Latino, and Native American.

Yes, we have a satellite office at the Ohio State University Endeavor Center located in Piketon, Ohio. The primary focus of this office is in providing MBAC services to business in the Appalachian counties we serve across Southern Ohio.

You will need to complete the client intake form HERE. Once you have completed the client intake form you will receive a welcome letter from the MBAC Program Administrator informing you of the next steps in the process. You will be instructed to complete a Business Assessment Form and assigned a business counselor who will work with you on your journey of becoming state certified.
